Hannah on Stage *VIDEO*

Our little ham is now (if in the right mood) singing a few mumbled syllables of “Jesus Loves Me” into anything she can hold like a microphone. She is SO close to talking! She understands tons of words and will even repeat the first letter of words you say to her. We keep thinking, “Any day now!”

Ring Around the Rosie *VIDEO*

Hannah’s learning to play games and sing songs. It’s so fun! I thought I’d start the week off right with two Hannah videos today. In this one Hannah’s playing Ring Around the Rosie with Mommy.

Down to a 2 Car Family

We finally offloaded our Oldsmobile that’s been our safety net for the last fews years. It served us well while we had unreliable cars and while I had to give up my first Amigo. A friend at work needed a cheap ride and we were glad to help her out by selling it even more cheaply.

Helen’s Birthday Zoo Trip *VIDEO*

This weekend we took good friends, the Bouterse, to the Zoo for Helen’s birthday. Hannah’s getting to enjoy the zoo more each time. I just threw some videos together for you to see. It was pretty hot so Hannah really liked the playground area that shot out water.

Hannah’s Retro Rocket

An elder at church that volunteers with Katie won this Retro Rocket toy and gave it to Hannah awhile back. We just got it out and she loves to make it blast off.

#1

Redemption!
Last year OSU lost a tough game to Texas early in the season. This year we have a big time quarterback, Troy Smith. It’s pretty special to have your favorite team ranked #1 in the country and convincingly beat #2.

Go Bucks!

Changes

I am so sorry it has been forever since I have personally written in our family blog. It has been a wild couple of weeks, with Pat getting a cold and trying to keep Hannah from catching whatever he had. Then Hannah breaks out in a rash all over her body, but is just a virus that is not contagious (which Joe is grateful for because he didn’t think it would be fun to have a rash all over his body) Hannah spent labor day weekend at Grandma and Grandpa’s and so Pat and I were able to get some much needed cleaning and yard work done. Plus a visit to the movie theatre and dinner out. My Mops group got started last Friday (which is a mothers program) I would encourage anyone with young children to find a church that has a MOPS program and join. Even if you don’t have kids yet, remember that name for when you do. It has been a great support system for me while I am getting the hang of this whole motherhood thing.

P.S. I want to give a shout out to Cindy who is a dear friend from back home who just met Hannah for the first time on Sunday. sorry I couldn’t introduce you to Hannah personally.

Yearly Head Cold

For the last week I’ve been struggling with my yearly head cold. It seems to happen each year around this time when the weather first gets colder. It’s getting to be very predictable. This image is how my head has felt this week, if not looked.
